The Pakistan Army has announced exciting new employment opportunities at the 108 Ordnance Unit in Gilgit. Applications are invited from eligible, qualified, and motivated individuals looking to serve the nation in various technical and trade capacities. The following positions are currently open for recruitment:

• Vehicle Mechanic (HSM) High Skilled Mistry (BPS-10)

• Vehicle Mechanic (HS-1) High Skilled (BPS-07)

• Painter (BPS-03)

• Carpenter (BPS-03)

General Eligibility Criteria

To apply for any of the vacant positions at the 108 Ordnance Unit, candidates must fulfill the following general requirements:

• Age Limit: The general age criteria across all positions is 18 to 30 years.

• Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to Gilgit Baltistan (GB), FATA, Sindh (Rural), Balochistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) are granted an extended upper age limit of up to 33 years.

• Educational Background: Minimum qualification ranges from a 5th-class pass for trade roles to a Matric pass combined with technical diplomas for high-skilled mechanical roles.

• Experience & Trade Skills: Candidates must possess relevant hands-on experience (ranging from 2 to 3 years) and demonstrate expertise in their respective trades. Passing a practical post-test is mandatory where specified.

• Regional Quota Availability: Positions are distributed across Open Merit and Local Corps Boundary Area quotas. Local areas specifically include Attock, Hazara Division, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), and Gilgit Baltistan (GB).

• Government Employees: Candidates currently working in government sectors must apply through the proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

• 3x Attested CNIC copies

• 3x Passport-size recent photographs

• Experience certificate in the relevant field

Important Instructions:

• Test & Interview Center: Examinations and interviews will be conducted at the Composite Ordnance Depot Jaglot.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.

• Candidates must bring original documents, experience certificates, and CNIC at the time of the test/interview.
