Aga Khan University: Education Fellows Jobs 2026 (Gilgit-Baltistan)

The Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), in partnership with the School Education Department (SED) GB, is implementing the Gilgit-Baltistan Education Fellows project. This initiative aims to improve children's access to quality education and enhance governance in public sector educational institutions across GB.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates with domiciles in the specified Union Councils for contract-based positions until June 30, 2026.

Selection Criteria & Education

• Domicile Requirement: Candidates for school positions must hold a domicile of the respective Union Council specified in the advertisement.

• Secondary Schools: Preference is given to those with 16 years (or higher) education in the relevant subject.

• Middle and Primary Schools: Preference is given to those with 14 years (or higher) education.

• College & Special Education: Positions will be filled based on district domicile and a minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant subject.

• Special Cases: In "hard areas," candidates with 12 years of education (FSc) may be considered for Primary Schools where needed.
