Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a project position in the Project Management Unit (PMU) under the ADP scheme "Establishment of Agriculture University at Swat." The position will be filled as per standard terms and conditions of the approved project implementation policy 2022 (as amended) and approved PC-1 of the scheme. The post is purely on a contract basis initially for a period of three years or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier. In case of continuation or revision of the PC-1, the contract is extendable upon satisfactory performance for another term of two years or until completion of the project.

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Master's Degree in Agriculture-related sciences or Project Management with 20 years' experience in planning and development sector / Administrative position in Grade-17 and above in Government or Semi-Government organization; OR

    • B.Sc Degree in Agriculture-related sciences or Project Management with 25 years' experience in planning and development sector / Administrative position in Grade-17 and above in Government or Semi-Government organization.

  • Job Description:

    • Overall in-charge of the PMU for implementation of the project.

    • Responsible for management of project accounts and reporting of physical and financial progress to higher authorities.

    • Maintain close liaison with the administrative department and all concerned attached sub-sectors for project implementation.

    • Act as the focal person of the PMU, arrange meetings, and implement decisions accordingly.

    • Implement the project through an interactive participatory approach to accomplish objectives outlined in the PC-I.

1. Employment Nature: The post is a project post and purely on a contract basis, filled as per approved Government project implementation policy 2022 and approved PC-I.
