Applications are invited from state subjects holding domicile of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (including refugees from Jammu & Kashmir 1989) for vacant positions in the Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir, Department of Armed Services Board. Only retired armed forces personnel are eligible to apply for these contractual and regular positions.

List of Vacancies & Eligibility Details

• (05 Deputy Director (BPS-18)): Retd Lt Col / Maj / equivalent of Navy / Air Force holding substantive or acting rank of Maj/equivalent if held for one year at retirement; Max age 50 years.

• (03 Assistant Director (BPS-17)): Retd Maj / equivalent of Navy / Air Force having completed their colour service at the time of retirement; Max age 50 years.

• (01 Assistant Secretary (BPS-16)): Retired JCO / equivalent rank from Air Force / Navy having experience of office routine work; Max age 45 years.

• (01 Head Clerk (BPS-16)): Retired JCO / Head Clerk equivalent of Navy / Air Force; Max age 45 years.

Terms & Conditions

• Applications will be governed as per Azad Jammu & Kashmir Civil Servants (Appointment & Conditions of Service) Rules 1981 under contract or regular basis.

• Only eligible candidates will be called for test or interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible.

• The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel vacancies.

• Dismissed or removed retired armed forces personnel are ineligible.

• Applications accompanied by attested copies of credentials, discharge certificate, service book, domicile, educational certificates, CNIC, and contact number must be submitted to the office of the Directorate of Armed Services Board, District Complex, Block C, Room No. 33, Muzaffarabad.
