Baba Guru Nanak University (BGNU), Nankana Sahib, has announced teaching and non-teaching positions for qualified and dynamic individuals. Terms & Conditions

• Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC along with their application form.

• Degrees only from HEC-recognized universities/degree-awarding institutions will be considered.

• Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous bodies must send their applications through proper channels along with a Departmental Permission Certificate/NOC issued by the competent authority.

• If a candidate applied for NOC from their parent department/test station/university and got selected in another department/institution during the process of selection, they will be required to submit an NOC from the new employer.

• Where experience is required for determination of eligibility, candidates must produce documentary evidence in support of their claim.

• For posts of BS-17 and above, experience in private entities will only be accepted if registered with SECP/Registrar of Firms or relevant regulatory authority.

• Research papers in HEC-recognized journals indexed in WOS and Scopus (SCI, SSCI, AHCI, or HJRS) will be considered valid. Review articles, case studies, translations, briefs, presentations in conferences, and short communications will not be treated as professional research papers.

• Upper age limit relaxation may be granted to suitable candidates as per Government of Punjab rules.

• Quotas for disabled persons, minorities, and women will be observed as per Government of Punjab rules.

• Applications with missing transcripts or claims without required documentation will not be entertained.

• Supplying incorrect or false information in the application form will result in disqualification and legal action.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.

• BGNU is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to postal failure.

• The university reserves the right to conduct a test (written/typing/screening) if a large number of applications are received.

• Pension and retirement benefits will be applied to appointees in accordance with Government of Punjab rules.

How to Apply

1. Visit the online job portal at careers.bgnu.edu.pk.

2. Pay the required processing fee:

   • BS-20: Rs. 4,000/-

   • BS-19: Rs. 3,000/-

   • BS-17 and BS-18: Rs. 2,000/-

   • BS-16 and BS-01 to BS-05: Rs. 1,000/-

     (Fee can be deposited via 1Link member bank, ATM, mobile banking platforms, internet banking, or over-the-counter via 1Bill ID/1Link).

3. Submit the online application form on or before the closing date.

4. Applicants must send a signed hard copy / printout of the online application form THROUGH COURIER along with:

   • Recent passport-size photographs.

   • Attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational documents, transcripts, degree certificates, experience certificates, and fee deposit receipt.

5. Mail hard copies to:

   Office of the Registrar, Baba Guru Nanak University, Faculty Hostels Building, Danish School, Opposite District Courts, Nankana Sahib.

6. Candidates applying for Associate Professor must submit a soft copy of the completed online application form along with PDF files of all research publications to [email protected].

7. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications with necessary documents and separate fee payments.

8. Applications received after the closing date, incomplete applications, or those submitted by hand/email (except as specified for Associate Professor) will not be accepted.
