Central Ordnance Depot (COD) Rawalpindi has announced new job openings for eligible candidates. Interested individuals can apply by submitting plain-paper applications along with required documents, a postal order of Rs. 300 (for BPS-14 only), and bank drafts to the Commandant, COD Rawalpindi, within 15 days of the advertisement's publication.

List of Vacancies and Eligibility Details

• (01 Data Entry Operator (DEO) (BPS-14)): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Stats/Maths/IT (2nd Division or Grade C) with a minimum typing speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour; 01 post (quota: Sindh Rural).

• (01 Electrician (BPS-04)): Primary pass with 6 months of relevant experience; 01 post (local/headquarters 10km radius domicile).

• (01 Assistant Supervisor Fire (A/Supvr Fire) (BPS-03)): Primary pass with 6 months of relevant experience; 01 post (local/headquarters 10km radius domicile).

• (01 Tailor (BPS-03)): Primary pass with 6 months of relevant experience; 01 post (local/headquarters 10km radius domicile).

• (04 Fireman (BPS-02)): Primary pass; 04 posts (local/headquarters 10km radius domicile).

• (01 Sanitary Worker (S/Worker) (BPS-01)): Primary pass; 01 post (local/headquarters 10km radius domicile).

• (02 Uniformed Security Man (USM) (BPS-01)): Primary pass; 02 posts (local/headquarters 10km radius domicile).

(Note: Local areas include District Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Attock, Jhelum, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan).

Terms & Conditions

• Selection Process: Only suitable candidates will be called for tests and interviews after preliminary scrutiny. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Pakistan. Government servants must apply through proper channels with an NOC.

• Age Limits: The general age limit is 18 to 30 years, with a relaxation up to 45 years for ex-servicemen. Additional age relaxations apply for Sindh (Rural), Balochistan, Tribal areas, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan candidates as per government rules.

• Test/Interview Rules: No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in tests or interviews. Candidates must bring original educational and computerized national identity cards on the day of the test/interview.

Eligible candidates should send their handwritten or plain-paper applications containing complete personal details, educational background, contact numbers, and postal addresses, accompanied by an attested postal order of Rs. 300 (for BPS-14), attested educational certificates, domicile, CNIC, and three recent passport-size photographs to the Commandant, COD Rawalpindi.
