The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Lahore, has issued a partial modification notice for Advertisement No. 06/2026 (Case No. 07-RB/2026) regarding recruitment to 26 contract-based posts of Child Protection Officer (BS-17) in the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, Home Department, Government of the Punjab.

In light of the Home Department's clarification, candidates holding a degree in any of the 40 specified subjects under the discipline of Social Sciences (as notified by the Higher Education Commission) are now deemed eligible. Fresh eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online before the extended deadline.

Terms & Conditions

• Employment Basis: Recruitment is purely on a contract basis for a period of 03 years under the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, Home Department.

• Eligible Disciplines: Candidates possessing a degree in any of the 40 notified Social Sciences subjects (such as Archaeology, Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminology, Media Studies, Gender Studies, etc.) are eligible.

• Previous Applicants: Candidates who have already applied for these posts in response to Advertisement No. 06/2026 need not apply again.

• General Conditions: All other terms, conditions, and requirements of Advertisement No. 06/2026 remain unchanged.
