The Directorate of Civil Defence Punjab, Lahore, has officially announced new contract-based employment opportunities for qualified individuals. Applications are invited for the following vacant positions on a contract basis:

• Bomb Disposal Commander (BS-15)

• Bomb Disposal Technician (BS-12)

Terms & Conditions

• Recruitment Policy: Appointments will be strictly governed under the Government of Punjab Recruitment Policy 2022 and Contract Appointment Policy 2004.

• Age Limit: The required age limit for both positions is 21 to 45 years.

• Age Relaxation: General upper age relaxation will be granted as per standard rules (5 years for civilian candidates and up to 10 years for former Armed Forces personnel of Pakistan).

• Domicile Restriction: Only candidates possessing a valid permanent domicile from any district of Punjab are eligible to apply.

• Technical Verification: Candidates must hold a certified Bomb Disposal course certificate from a government-recognized military or civil institution. Unrecognized certificates will lead to immediate disqualification.

• Original Documents: Applicants must bring their original educational certificates, technical course diplomas, experience letters, CNIC, and domicile certificates at the time of the test/interview.

• Government Employees: Current government or semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel by submitting a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department.

• TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for the test or interview process.

Eligible candidates who fulfill the criteria  must follow a dual application process (online submission followed by hard copy dispatch):

1. Online Submission: Visit the official Punjab Job Portal at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk to fill out and submit the online application form.

2. Hard Copy Dispatch: After successful online submission, print out the application form and send it along with attested copies of educational degrees, technical certificates, experience letters, CNIC, domicile, and recent passport-sized photographs via registered post or courier.
