The Government of Punjab, in collaboration with the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF), has launched a transformative digital skills initiative under the Maryam Nawaz Hunarmand Naujawan program. Specifically designed to bridge the urban-rural divide, this program offers educated rural women a unique opportunity to break into the global digital economy. By providing 6 months of free, certified training in high-demand fields like freelancing, e-commerce, and remote work, the initiative empowers women to build sustainable careers and earn a dignified livelihood right from their homes. With added incentives including monthly stipends and device allowances, this program is not just a training course—it is a launchpad for the next generation of female digital entrepreneurs in Punjab.

Program Benefits

The initiative offers several incentives to support students during their 6-month training period:

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this program (Round 3), candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Minimum 16 years of education (graduation/equivalent).

• Age: Between 21 and 40 years old.

• Residency: Must be a female resident of rural Punjab.

• Selection: Passing an entry test is mandatory.
