The Government of Punjab, Higher Education Department, has announced the hiring of College Teaching Interns (CTIs) to fill vacant teaching posts in public colleges across Punjab for the academic session 2025–26.
The Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has announced the online recruitment of 8,084 College Teaching Interns (CTIs) for public / Government colleges (Male & Female) across the province. This initiative aims to overcome the shortage of teaching staff at both Intermediate and BS levels during the academic session 2025–26. Selected candidates will serve for 7 to 10 months (depending on the level) and will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000/-.
A total of 8,084 CTIs will be recruited to overcome the shortage of teaching staff at the Intermediate and BS levels.

Eligibility Criteria for CTIs:
For BS Colleges:

Qualification: MS / M.Phil / PhD in the relevant subject.
For Other Intermedidate Colleges (Including Community Colleges):

Qualification: Master’s Degree / BS (FYDP) with at least 2nd Division in the relevant subject.

Duration of CTI Internship:

Intermediate Level: 01-10-2025 to 30-04-2026 (07 months)

BS Level: 10-10-2025 to 31-07-2026 (10 months)
Or till the arrival of regular staff (whichever is earlier).
Stipend: Rs. 50,000/- per month (for both Intermediate & BS level)
Age Limit: No Age Limit
Merit Distribution for Selction of CTIs:

Educational Qualification → 87 Marks

Higher Qualification above Master → 05 Marks

Position Holder (Board/University) → 05 Marks

Interview Performance → 03 Marks
