The Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training (Daanish Wing), Government of Pakistan, has announced exciting career opportunities for educators across the country. If you are a passionate and qualified teacher looking for a stable government teaching job, this is your chance to apply.

According to the latest Corrigendum, the last date to apply for these positions has been extended to June 5, 2026. Applications can be submitted both online and offline through the Open Testing Service (OTS).

List of Available Vacancies

The Daanish Wing is hiring for multiple teaching positions. Each category has four available posts (divided equally as 02 Males and 02 Females):

• Mathematics Teacher

• English Teacher

• Urdu Teacher

• Chemistry Teacher

• Physics Teacher

• Biology Teacher

• Islamiyat Teacher

• Social Studies Teacher

• General Science Teacher

• Computer Science Teacher

• Fine Arts Teacher

• Geography Teacher

• Montessori Teacher / General Teacher

Eligibility Criteria for All Posts

To ensure your application is successful, you must meet the following collective eligibility criteria standard for these DS-16 scale positions:

1. Educational Qualification

• Required Degree: A minimum of 16 years of education, which includes a Master’s degree, BS, BSc (Hons), or BA (Hons) in the relevant subject area from an HEC-recognized institution.

• For Islamiyat Teachers: A Shahadat ul Alamia from Wafaq Ul Madaris / Tanzeem ul Madaris is also acceptable.

• For Montessori Teachers: A Master’s degree in any discipline, supplemented by a Montessori Training Diploma or Certificate (which will give an added advantage).

2. Academic Division & CGPA

• Applicants must have at least a 2nd Division in their degree.

• Where only CGPA is prescribed on the final transcript, a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or 3.50 out of 5.00 is mandatory.

3. Additional Qualifications & Skills

• An M.Ed. or B.Ed. qualification is highly preferred and will give candidates a distinct advantage.

• Good English communication skills are required across all posts.

• For English and Urdu Teachers: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a flawless pronunciation accent, creative writing abilities, and mastery over literary genres are highly valued.

• For Islamiyat Teachers: Additional courses in Islamiyat and Arabic will be given due preference.

4. Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for all teaching positions is up to 50 years.

5. Salary Scale & Job Type

• Pay Scale: DS-16 (equivalent to BPS-16 of the government) with one additional allowance of basic pay.

• Job Nature: Purely on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
