The Government of the Punjab, Directorate General (Wildlife & Parks), has officially announced multiple project-based career opportunities under the Development Project titled "Revamping & Experience Development of Bahawalpur Zoo". Eligible candidates domiciled in the Punjab province looking for lucrative government project jobs are invited to apply on a contract basis until the gestation period of the project (30.06.2027).

List of Vacancies with Details

• IT Support Specialist (PPS-07):

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Max Age Limit: 40 years

  • Qualification & Experience: Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, Software Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields, with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a related field.

• Zoo Supervisor (PPS-05):

  • Number of Posts: 05

  • Max Age Limit: 35 years

  • Qualification & Experience: Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in Zoology, Wildlife Management, Ecology, or a related field, with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a related field.

• Assistant Veterinarian (PPS-05):

  • Number of Posts: 04

  • Max Age Limit: 35 years

  • Qualification & Experience: Minimum Secondary School certificate (second division) with science subjects from a recognized Board, along with a 2-year diploma of Veterinary Assistant or Livestock Assistant from a recognized Institute and at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

• Hatchery Operator (PPS-02):

  • Number of Posts: 02

  • Max Age Limit: 40 years

  • Qualification & Experience: Matriculation with Science and 2 years of experience in the maintenance of a hatchery.

• Animal Keeper (PPS-02):

  • Number of Posts: 10

  • Max Age Limit: 30 years

  • Qualification & Experience: Middle pass with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Terms & Conditions

• The positions are Bahawalpur-based, but the competent authority reserves the right to utilize services on an overall Punjab basis.

• Jobs are offered on a contract basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance until the project's gestation period.

• Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each.

• Government or semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC from their competent authority.

• Only shortlisted candidates after detailed scrutiny will be invited for tests or interviews, and no TA/DA will be admissible.
