District Council Faisalabad Jobs 2026 for 40 Drivers & Sewermen

The District Council Faisalabad, Local Government and Community Development Department, Government of the Punjab, has announced employment opportunities under notification No. SO.ADMN-II(LG)Misc/2025 (Machinery) dated 07.07.2026. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for driver and sewerman positions on a work-charge/daily wage basis.

Terms & Conditions

• Employment Basis: Appointments for Drivers and Sewermen will be strictly temporary and made on a work-charge/daily wage basis for a period specified in the appointment letter.

• Extension & Wages: Upon completion of the period, the temporary appointment will automatically terminate without any separate release notice. However, extensions may be granted based on performance, department need, and government instructions. Wages will be paid according to the schedule of rates prescribed by the Punjab Finance Department based solely on work performed.

• Domicile: Candidates must hold a domicile of Punjab Province, with preference given to residents of District Faisalabad.

• Health Requirements: Candidates must be healthy and physically fit. Preference will be given to candidates with prior relevant work experience and good performance history.

• Selection Decision: The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and cannot be challenged in any forum or court.

• Call Letters: No separate call letters will be issued for the interview or physical test. Candidates must bring their original documents at the time of the test/interview.

• Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.

• Validity List: A merit list will be prepared based on received applications and will remain valid for one year. Temporary appointments will be made from this list as per government directives.

How to Apply

1. Prepare a complete application accompanied by:

   • Attested copies of CNIC.

   • Two passport-size photographs.

   • Attested copies of educational and experience certificates/licenses relevant to the post eligibility.

2. Submit the complete application package via registered post or in person to the office of the District Officer (I&S), District Council Faisalabad.

3. Bring original documents on the scheduled test/interview date (19.08.2026 at 11:00 AM at the District Council Faisalabad office).
