District Council Jobs 2026 for Drivers, Sewermen & Peter Operators

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment against temporary work charge positions of drivers and sewermen under the District Council Jhang, in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of Punjab, Local Government and Community Development Department.

List of Vacancies

• Driver HTV: Requires Matric education, HTV driving license, and 2 years of experience to operate sugar machinery and excavators.

• Driver LTV: Requires Matric education, LTV driving license, and 1 year of experience to drive tractors.

• Sewerman: Requires literate and physically fit candidates for main hole and sewer line cleaning.

• Winch Machine Pumper Operator: Requires literate and physically fit individuals to operate winch machines.

Terms & Conditions

• Appointments will be made on a temporary work-charge basis for a specified period, which will automatically end upon completion of the term without any separate notice.

• Candidates must possess a domicile of Jhang district, with preference given to locals from Tehsil Jhang, 18 Hazari, Shorkot, and Ahmedpur Sial.

• Wages will be paid according to the rates fixed by the Government of Punjab for work-charge staff.

• Applicants must bring original documents, CNIC, and driving licenses at the time of interview.

• The selection committee reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

• Interested candidates should submit their applications along with attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational certificates, driving license, and 2 recent passport-size photographs to the Office of District Officer (I&S), District Council Jhang via registered mail or hand delivery.
