The Office of the District Council Khanewal invites applications from eligible local candidates possessing a domicile of District Khanewal for technical operational staff positions on a work-charge basis. Appointments will be made in accordance with the Local Government and Community Development Department notification and the Schedule of Daily Wage Rates 2025.

These temporary opportunities offer positions for heavy machinery drivers and support staff to manage district operational machinery. Interested candidates meeting the criteria for age, driving license, and relevant field experience can submit their applications directly to the office.

Terms & Conditions

• Nature of Appointment: Recruitment is purely on a temporary work-charge basis for 89 days under the Schedule of Daily Wage Rates 2025 approved by the Finance Department.

• No Regularization Claim: Positions are strictly temporary and carry no right to claim permanent status or regularization.

• Domicile Requirement: Candidates must hold a valid domicile certificate of District Khanewal.

• Age Limit & Qualifications: Age limit for all positions is 18 to 30 years as of the closing date. Candidates must hold the required academic certificates, valid HTV driving licenses, and minimum 2 years of experience where applicable.

• Tenure: The tenure of appointment is for a limited duration, up to the end of the current financial year or as required.

• Shortlisting & TA/DA: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests or interviews. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the recruitment process.

• Authority Rights: The competent authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or completely cancel the hiring process at any stage without giving a reason.
