District Council Multan Jobs 2026 for 40 Drivers & Sewer Man Vacancies

The Office of the District Council Multan, pursuant to official approval from the Local Government and Community Development Department, Punjab, Lahore, invites applications from eligible local candidates for temporary work-charge positions. These appointments will be made purely on a work-charge basis to fill technical and field support staff roles in the district. Suitable candidates possessing the required physical fitness, driving licenses, and academic qualifications are encouraged to submit their applications before the closing date.

Terms & Conditions

1. Appointment Basis: Appointments will be made purely on a temporary work-charge basis. The tenure will be specified in the appointment letter, and employment will automatically terminate upon completion of the term without any separate notice.

2. Wages: Wages will be paid strictly on a work-performed basis in accordance with government notifications.

3. Domicile Preference: Applicants must be residents of District Multan; preference will be given to local candidates from Tehsil Shujabad and Jalalpur Pirwala.

4. Physical Fitness & Experience: Candidates must be healthy and physically fit. Experienced candidates with good performance records will be given preference.

5. Qualification Relaxation for Drivers: For driver positions, if candidates with Matriculation are unavailable, applicants with Middle-pass qualifications meeting other eligibility criteria may also be considered.

6. Age Limit & Relaxation: The age limit for all positions is 18 to 30 years. Age relaxation will be granted as per Government of the Punjab rules.

7. Selection Committee Decision: The decision of the selection committee will be final and cannot be challenged in any court or forum.

8. TA/DA & Call Letters: No separate call letters will be issued for physical test/interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible.

9. Merit List Validity: A merit list based on received applications will be drawn up for the Financial Year 2026–27, from which temporary appointments will be processed as needed.

How to Apply

1. Prepare Application: Write an application containing complete personal details, educational qualifications, and relevant experience.

2. Submission: Complete applications in all respects must be submitted by hand or by post to:

   • District Officer (I&S)

   • Office of the District Council Multan.

3. Interview & Physical Test: Candidates must appear directly for the interview/physical test along with their original documents on the scheduled date and time.

4. Test Date & Venue: The interview and physical test will be held on August 31, 2026 (31-08-2026) at 11:00 AM at the Office of District Council Multan.

Last Date to Apply

The last date for receipt of complete applications is August 28, 2026 (28-08-2026) during office hours. Applications received after the due date will be rejected.
