Available Sindh Govt Excise Deptt Vacancies

1. Narcotics Inspector (BPS-14)

• Total Vacancies: 248

• Quota Breakdown: Rural (60%), Urban (40%), Women (15%), Differently Abled (5%), Minority (5%), Transgender (0.5%).

• Educational Requirement: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (at least 2nd Division) or equivalent CGPA from an HEC-recognized university.

• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.

2. Assistant Narcotics Control Inspector (BPS-11)

• Total Vacancies: 135

• Quota Breakdown: Rural (60%), Urban (40%), Women (15%), Differently Abled (5%), Minority (5%), Transgender (0.5%).

• Educational Requirement: Graduation (at least 2nd Division) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.

• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years.

Physical Fitness Standards

Candidates for both positions must meet the following physical criteria:

• Male Candidates:

  • Minimum Height: 5'5"

  • Chest Measurement: 33" (with 1.5" expansion)

  • Running: 1 mile in 8 minutes.

• Female Candidates:

  • Minimum Height: 5'2"

  • Walking: 800 meters in 14 minutes.

Mandatory Application Requirements

• Screening Test: Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with a minimum of 40% marks.

• Certification: Possession of an STS-issued certification is required for appointment.

• Government Employees: Current government servants must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview or physical test.
