Important Terms & Selection Conditions

• Duty Deployment Limitation: Candidates successfully recruited against Serial No. 1 and Serial No. 2 (JCP positions) must perform their duties exclusively at the specified Joint Check Posts within the province. They cannot be transferred or posted to any other sub-office of the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department.

• Screening and Scrutiny: Candidates will be provisionally allowed to sit for the ETEA screening test based on the information provided in their online application profiles. A detailed physical and document scrutiny will be performed later. Discovery of any fake documentation or unmet criteria will result in immediate disqualification at any stage of recruitment or even after employment.

• NADRA Verification Mandate: After creating an online profile on ETEA, candidates are required to print an E-Sahulat token from the website and verify their CNIC number via any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise. Applications cannot be formally processed without this electronic verification.

• Government Servants: Applicants currently working in Government or Semi-Government bodies must route their applications through the proper channel and submit their departmental NOC.

Step-by-Step ETEA Online Application Process

1. Profile Registration: Visit the official ETEA portal at www.etea.edu.pk to create your candidate profile.

2. Apply Online: Select the desired post from the active projects tab and submit the online application form.

3. Generate Fee Challan: Upon successful submission, a prescribed online deposit slip featuring your unique project code and token number will be generated automatically.

4. Fee Payment: Take a clear printout of the deposit slip and pay the non-refundable test processing fee at any branch of UBL Bank, or digitally through EasyPaisa or JazzCash mobile applications.

5. Record Maintenance: Keep the original bank-stamped candidate copy of the deposit slip safely with you. Do not send physical documents or copies of testimonials to the ETEA office unless explicitly asked during the screening and verification phases.
