The Government of Sindh has announced a major recruitment drive for uniformed positions within the Narcotics Control Wing of the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department. Applications are invited from eligible candidates possessing a Sindh domicile to fill these permanent vacancies under the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973.

Eligibility Criteria and Quotas

Academic & Age Requirements

• Education: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university.

• Age Limit: 21 to 28 years (subject to general age relaxation policies of the Sindh Government).

Physical Standards

• Male Candidates:

  • Height: Minimum 5' 5"

  • Chest: 33" with 1.5" expansion

  • Fitness Test: 1-mile run in 8 minutes.

• Female Candidates:

  • Height: Minimum 5' 2"

  • Fitness Test: 800-meter walk in 14 minutes.

Quota Breakdown

• Rural Quota: 60%

• Urban Quota: 40%

• Women Quota: 15%

• Minority Quota: 5%

Important Application Requirements

1. SIBA Testing Service (STS) Certificate: Applicants must have passed the Graduation Category General Screening Test conducted by IBA Sukkur Testing Services (STS) with a minimum score of 40 marks.

2. Physical & Selection Committee: Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo physical fitness tests and interviews conducted by the Departmental Selection Committee.

3. Government Employees: Candidates currently in government service must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments.
