Key Qualifications & Experience

While requirements vary slightly by department, the general criteria include:

• Education: BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by PMDC.

• Post-Graduate Level: MDS, Ph.D., FCPS, M.Phil, or MS in the respective subject.

• Experience: * For Associate Professor: Typically requires 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor and at least 3 research papers published in a standard medical/dental journal.

  • For Assistant Professor: Requirements vary from specific post-graduate degrees to certain years of experience as a Demonstrator/Registrar.
