The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, invites applications from practicing advocates for appointment on the Panel of Advocates (Service Law). The primary objective is to strengthen and professionalize the handling of departmental service litigation before the Federal Service Tribunal (FST), High Courts, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Federal Constitutional Court, and other judicial/quasi-judicial fora across Pakistan. Panel Advocates will be engaged for FBR (HQs) Islamabad and its field formations for service law matters.

Terms & Conditions

• Single Station Application: Candidates shall apply for one station only; applications submitted for multiple stations will not be considered.

• Station Eligibility: Applicants must apply for the station corresponding to their residence, domicile, or primary station of practice.

• Shortlisting & Call Letters: Interview and call letters to eligible shortlisted candidates will be issued in accordance with FBR’s policy regarding the engagement of advocates.

• Incomplete & Late Submissions: Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.

• Verification of Credentials: Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.

• TA/DA Allowance: No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.

• Authority Rights: The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of Panel Advocates or cancel the hiring process at any stage.

• Remuneration Structure: Remuneration shall be paid on a case-to-case basis in accordance with FBR’s approved professional fee structure.

• Tax Panel Fresh Application: Advocates who are already on the FBR Panel of Advocates for tax matters are required to submit fresh applications for the Service Law Panel.

   • High Court / Supreme Court Enrolment Card

   • Academic credentials / degrees (including HEC equivalence certificate if degree is from a foreign university)

   • List of reported/unreported judgments in service law matters

   • Details of professional experience in service litigation
