1. Assistant Director (Investigation) (BS-17)

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s degree or 4-year Bachelor’s degree (BS) from an HEC-recognized university.

• Physical Standards (For Male & Female):

  • Height: For Male: 5' - 6" | For Female: 5' - 2"

  • Chest (Male Only): 33" - 34.5"

• Age Limit: 22–28 years + 5 years general age relaxation (Up to 33 years).

2. Inspector Investigation (BS-16)

• Department: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Ministry of Interior

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s degree (14 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university.

• Physical Standards:

  • Height: For Male: 5' - 6" | For Female: 5' - 2"

  • Chest (Male Only): 33" - 34.5"

• Age Limit: 20–28 years + 5 years general age relaxation (Up to 33 years).

• Domicile / Quota: All Pakistan Open Merit and Provincial Quotas.

3. Assistant Director (Legal) (BS-17)

• Department: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Ministry of Interior

• Minimum Qualification & Experience:

  • Second Class or Grade ‘C’ LL.B. degree from an HEC-recognized university.

  • 2 years post-qualification experience of practice as an Advocate in High Court / Subordinate Courts.

• Age Limit: 22–30 years + 5 years general age relaxation (Up to 35 years).

• Domicile / Quota: Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

• Place of Posting: Anywhere in Pakistan.

4. Assistant Director (Technical / IT / Cybercrime) (BS-17)

• Department: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Ministry of Interior

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s / Bachelor’s (4 years) degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering / Telecommunications from an HEC-recognized university.

• Age Limit: 22–28 years + 5 years general age relaxation (Up to 33 years).

Terms & Conditions

• Online Fee Submission: Candidates must deposit the prescribed application fee (Rs. 300/- for BS-16 & BS-17) online against a dedicated PSID generated on the FPSC online portal using the 1-Link facility via ATMs, Mobile Banking apps, or Internet Banking.

• Physical Standard Verification: Measurement of height and chest will be conducted at the physical measurement stage prior to or during the interview phase.

• Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC): In-service government servants must obtain a DPC from their parent department before applying and mention its reference details in the online form.

• General Age Relaxation: Upper age limit includes 5 years of general relaxation as granted under Federal Government Rules.

• Screening Test: Candidates will undergo an objective MCQ-based preliminary screening test conducted by FPSC. Admission certificates must be downloaded directly from the official FPSC website.

2. Generate PSID & Fee Payment: Access the online fee payment facility to generate a dedicated PSID and deposit the application fee through 1-Link.
