The Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments & Garrisons) Directorate, Rawalpindi Cantonment, has announced numerous permanent vacancies under the Ministry of Defence. General Eligibility & Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for these permanent government positions:

Nationality: Open to Pakistani Nationals only.

Educational Background: Requirements range from Primary, Matric, and Intermediate to Graduate and Higher degrees depending on the specific post.

Professional Certification: Teaching and technical roles (like Librarian, Band Master, and Special Education instructors) require specific diplomas or certificates from recognized institutions.

Age Limit: The general age bracket is 18 to 35 years (including a standard 5-year general relaxation).

Age Relaxation: Additional relaxation is provided for specific categories including:

3 years for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Buddhist communities, Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir, and Balochistan.

Up to 15 years (or the number of years served) for released/retired Armed Forces personnel.

10 years for government servants with 2 years of continuous service.

10 years for persons with disabilities.

5 years for widows or children of deceased civil servants who died during service.

IT Proficiency: Candidates for Assistant and Clerk positions must complete mandatory basic IT training courses (including MS Office) from NITB during their probation period.

Selection Process

Merit-Based: Selection is based on regional/provincial quotas including Punjab, Sindh (Rural/Urban), KPK, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, GB, and AJK.

Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates based on test results will be called for interviews. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of the interview.

Government Employees: Candidates currently in government service must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
