Under the "Operationalisation of DHQ Hospitals" project approved by the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, the Health Department Gilgit-Baltistan has announced job opportunities for Doctors and Medical Specialists on a fixed pay (SPS) basis. Eligible candidates seeking healthcare and specialist doctor positions in Gilgit-Baltistan can apply for various hospital postings across the region through the official selection procedure outlined below.

• Supervisory PG Training Program in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Terms & Conditions

• Hiring will be made purely on a fixed pay / temporary basis for a period ending June 30, 2027. Unless extended, contracts terminate automatically.

• Pay Package:

  • Specialist Doctors (Qualified): Rs. 350,000 / month.

  • Specialist Doctors (Trained): Rs. 300,000 / month.

  • Supervisor of Gynecologist (RHQ Hospital Chilas): Rs. 500,000 / month.

• Domicile is open merit, with preference given to local domicile holders of Gilgit-Baltistan.

• Regular or contract doctors serving under the GB Government must submit applications through proper channels.

• Upper age limit relaxation is available for retired consultants/specialists subject to medical fitness and motivation.

• Appointments are station-specific; however, appointees may be posted to other stations in the public interest.

• Selected candidates shall have no right to claim regularization of services in any forum or court.

• The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on September 10, 2026.

• Walk-in interviews will take place on September 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Office of the Secretary Health GB.

• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.

1. Prepare an application along with one complete set of attested photocopies of all educational certificates, post-graduate degrees, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, and valid permanent PM&DC registration.

2. Include an active mobile phone number on the application.

3. Submit the application package during office hours directly to the Office of the Secretary Health, Gilgit-Baltistan, located at the New Secretariat Jutial, Gilgit.
