Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) is inviting applications from eligible citizens of Punjab for various non-teaching transport staff positions on a temporary basis. The Office of the Registrar, GCWUS, seeks qualified and experienced candidates to fill operational vacancies in the university’s transport section.

Terms & Conditions

• Employment Status: Posts are offered on a temporary basis for 89 days under government recruitment policy, extendable upon approval by the competent authority.

• Domicile Eligibility: Only citizens holding a domicile of Punjab province are eligible to apply.

• Age Limits & Relaxation: Age limit is 30 to 45 years for Bus Driver and Tractor Driver, and 18 to 25 years for Bus Conductor. Upper age relaxation will be granted per Government of Punjab policy rules.

• Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bus Driver: Matric (2nd division) or equivalent, valid HTV or PSV driving license, and 5 years post-qualification driving experience.

  • Tractor Driver: Matric (2nd division) or equivalent, valid commercial tractor trolley driving license, and 5 years post-qualification driving experience.

  • Bus Conductor: Literate (Khwandah).

• Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Interview date and time will be announced following application submission.

• Original Documents: Candidates must bring their original documents on the day of the interview.

• TA/DA & Authority Rights: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interviews. The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions.
