The Health Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, has officially announced exciting job opportunities for eligible medical, technical, and support candidates. These positions are on a fixed pay (SPS) basis for the 50-Bedded Cardiac Hospital under the Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat.

Qualified healthcare professionals and administrative support staff are invited to apply. Selected candidates will receive competitive fixed monthly pay packages as per government rules.

Terms & Conditions

• Nature of Job: Appointments will be made purely on a fixed-pay basis for a period of one year. Appointed candidates shall have no right to claim regularization or contract extensions. If not extended, the appointment terminates automatically after one year.

• Upper Age Limit: The upper age limit for all advertised posts is 40 years.

• Quota & Domicile:

  • Open Merit posts will give preference to Gilgit-Baltistan domicile holders.

  • Positions from Serial No. 12 to 14 are reserved strictly for Gilgit-Baltistan domicile holders.

  • Reserved quotas for Disabled Persons, Women, and Minorities will be observed as per Government policy/rules.

• Government Employees: Candidates already serving in Government departments must apply through the proper channel.

• Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application packages clearly stating the position name.

• Shortlisting & Interview Display: Shortlisted candidates will be listed on the Health Department GB notice board and official website by September 05, 2026.

• Interview Schedule (Walk-In-Interview):

  • Serial No. 1 to 6: September 10, 2026

  • Serial No. 7 to 14: September 11, 2026

  • (Note: If an interview date falls on a local or notified public holiday, interviews will take place on the next working day).

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the walk-in interviews.

• Department Rights: The Health Department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
