The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications from individuals of known integrity, expertise, eminence, and extensive experience for top-tier regulatory positions in the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP). Terms & Conditions

• Tenure: Selected candidates will be appointed for a term of three (03) years.

• Age Limit & Expiry: A candidate will cease to hold office as Member, CCP upon reaching the age of sixty-five (65) years or upon the expiry of the 3-year term, whichever occurs earlier. The maximum entry age limit is 62 years.

• Remuneration: Package as per Rule-4 of the Competition Commission (Salary, Terms and Conditions of Chairman and Members) Rules, 2009, set at the median of the MP-I scale with entitlement to normal annual increments under the MP-I scale.

• Service Terms: All terms and conditions of service are subject to revision by the Federal Government from time to time.

• Resignation / Retirement Requirement: Candidates currently serving in Government/Semi-Government Departments, International Financial Institutions, Multilateral Organizations, Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous Bodies, or the Private Sector must resign or seek retirement before joining. Acceptance of resignation from the previous job is mandatory prior to assumption of charge.

• Shortlisting & Selection: Shortlisting will be conducted based on an evaluation of qualifications, relevant higher qualifications, leadership roles, and regulatory experience. Only shortlisted candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview.

• Right to Cancel: The Finance Division reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any time without assigning any reason.
