The Planning & Development Department (P&DD), Government of Sindh, has announced multiple dynamic job opportunities under the Climate & Equity Development (CED) Project and various research categories. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates domiciled in Sindh province for these contract-based positions initially for two years, extendable based on performance and project needs.

List of Vacancies and Eligibility Details

• (01 Team Lead (Lead Technical Specialist) (Environment) (MP Scale-I)): Master's degree or higher in Environmental Science/Economics or Climate Change with 12+ years of relevant experience and a maximum age limit of 55 years

• (01 Project Development & Private Sector Engagement Specialist (Energy / Waste) (MP Scale-II)): Master's degree or higher in Energy, Environment, Climate Change, Forestry, Agriculture, or Waste Management with 10+ years of experience and max age limit of 55 years.

• (02 Project Development & Private Sector Engagement Specialist (Forestry / AFOLU) (MP Scale-II)): Master's degree or higher in relevant disciplines with 10+ years of experience and maximum age limit of 55 years

• (01 Climate Finance Specialist (PPS-09)): Master's degree in Environmental Finance or related fields with 7 years of financial experience and age limit of 35-45 years.

• (01 Data Automation Expert (PPS-09)): Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of data analytics experience and age limit of 28-30 years.

• (01 Budget & Finance Officer (PPS-07)): Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Economics with 3 years of relevant experience and age limit of 25-30 years

• (02 Support Staff / Office Assistant (PPS-02)): Bachelor's degree or Intermediate from a recognized board with 2 years of relevant office experience and age limit of 25-30 years.

• (04 Data Entry Operators (PPS-02)): Bachelor's or Intermediate with IT/Computer diploma and 2 years of experience, aged 22-30 years

• (04 Research Associate - Environment / Climate): Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geography, or Climate Change with an age limit of 21-25 years.

• (02 Research Associate - Information Technology (IT)): Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or Cyber Security, aged 21-25 years

• (02 Research Associate - Finance): Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Economics, aged 21-25 years.

• (01 Research Associate - Data Analysis): Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Statistics, Data Science, or Mathematics, aged 21-25 years

• (01 Research Associate - Social Sciences): Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Sociology, Public Administration, Economics, or Social Work, aged 21-25 years.

Terms & Conditions

• Candidates must hold a domicile and PRC of the Sindh Province.

• Successful candidates on MP Scale positions will be offered remuneration as per Sindh Management Position Scales Policy, 2022.

• Already serving government/semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel.

• No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview processes.
