The Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from eligible male and female candidates domiciled in Punjab for contract-based recruitment. These positions are offered under the development project "Establishment of Mobile Labs under Soil Fertility Research Institute Punjab Lahore" (2025-26 to 2026-27) under the Chief Scientist, Agri. (Research), Ayub Agricultural Research Institution, Faisalabad.

• Scientific Officer (Soil Science) (PPS-7) — Mobile Laboratories (Bahawalpur, Multan, D.G. Khan, T.T. Singh, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Okara)

Terms & Conditions

• Age Limit & Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is not admissible.

• Equivalence Certificate: Candidates with relevant degrees other than the specified ones must provide an equivalence certificate issued by HEC or the competent forum.

• Ineligibility: Retired Government servants are not eligible.

• Contract & Regularization: Appointments are temporary, non-transferable, job-specific, non-pensionable, and carry no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be up to 30.06.2027 (or subject to project timeline adjustments).

• Merit & Quotas: Recruitments will be made strictly on merit on an all-Punjab basis according to PC-I criteria. No posts fall under quotas for women, minorities, or disabled persons.

• District Preference: Preference will be given to candidates holding a domicile of the specified posting districts for mobile laboratory posts.

• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for the test/interview.

2. Candidates can also apply online at https://jobs.punjab.gov.pk. However, submitting a hard copy of the application form along with complete attested documents is mandatory.

3. Attach the following documents with the application:

   • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)

   • Three recent passport-size photographs

   • Attested copies of educational certificates/degrees (with detailed marks certificates including CGPA)

   • CNIC and Domicile certificate

   • Hafiz-e-Quran certificate, position certificates, or release orders for Ex-Service men (if applicable)
