The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, has announced exciting career opportunities for Pakistani nationals on an open merit and contract basis. These positions are available within the Educational Testing Council (ETC). Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online before the closing date.

Important Terms and Application Process

• Experience Rules: Experience will only be calculated and considered if it was gained after obtaining the minimum required educational qualification. Part-time, honorary, apprentice, or internee experience (done as part of study) will not be counted.

• How to Apply: Applicants must apply online through the official HEC career portal at https://careers.hec.gov.pk. There is no need to send hard copies of your CV or documents.

• Application Fee: An application processing fee of Rs. 1,500/- must be deposited via 1Link services using any Mobile Banking App or Mobile Wallet via the link provided on the HEC portal.

• Test Centers: Written examinations will be held at the nearest locations chosen by candidates, including Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.

• Age Relaxation: Five (5) years of general age relaxation is already included in the maximum age limits mentioned above. Further relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules.

• Job Location: Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in Pakistan.
