The Home Department, Government of Balochistan, has announced several new job vacancies for the Balochistan Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism (COE-CVE). These positions are based in Quetta and are open to local/domicile candidates of Balochistan on a contract basis for an initial period of one year.

Available Vacancies and Eligibility Criteria

The department is hiring for a diverse range of roles, from high-level research positions to essential support staff.

1. Research Analyst (05 Posts)

• Qualifications: MPhil / BS in International Relations (IR), Political Science, or Social Sciences from an HEC recognized university.

• Experience: 2 years of research work related to terrorism and violent extremism. Must have at least one research paper published in HEC recognized journals.

• Age Limit: 22 to 32 Years.

2. Sub Editor (01 Post)

• Qualifications: MPhil / BS in IR, Political Science, or Social Sciences.

• Experience: 3 years of experience in reputed think tanks and two published research papers in HEC recognized journals.

• Age Limit: 25 to 35 Years.

3. Admin/Finance Officer (01 Post)

• Qualifications: BBA / Bachelor’s in Accounting.

• Skills: Strong administrative, verbal, and organizational skills; proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Age Limit: 25 to 33 Years.

4. Outreach Coordinator (01 Post)

• Qualifications: MPhil / BS in Media Studies.

• Skills: Expertise in religious community engagement and strong interpersonal communication.

• Age Limit: 30 to 40 Years.

5. Cyber Security Analyst (01 Post)

• Qualifications: BS in any Cyber Security related degree.

• Skills: Expertise in assessment, analysis techniques, and statistical data analysis.

• Age Limit: 25 to 35 Years.

6. Video Editor (01 Post)

• Qualifications: BS Degree in a relevant field.

• Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut. 2 years of professional experience preferred.

• Age Limit: 25 to 30 Years.

7. Social Media Manager (01 Post)

• Qualifications: MPhil / BS in Mass Communication and Media Studies.

• Experience: 2 years in the relevant field with knowledge of trends regarding extremism on social media.

• Age Limit: 25 to 35 Years.

8. Support Staff (Runner, Office Boy, Sweeper)

• Requirements: Literate (preferably Matric for Runner).

• Age Limit: 20 to 30 Years.
