The Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad, invites applications for faculty and lab positions across various academic departments. Appointments will be made on a contract basis under Basic Pay Scales (BPS), Equivalent to Basic Pay Scales (EBPS), and IST's Faculty Pay Scales (FPS). IST is looking for qualified, experienced, and dedicated individuals to contribute to higher education and cutting-edge research in space technology, engineering, computing, and applied sciences.

• Lab Posts (Lab Engineer / Lab Associate)

• Technician-I / Lab Assistant (EBPS-10)

Terms & Conditions

• All qualifications must be from well-reputed universities/institutions recognized by HEC, PEC, or NCEAC as applicable.

• Foreign degrees require equivalence certificates issued by HEC or IBCC.

• Relevancy of specialization and field will be determined by the respective academic department of IST.

• All posts are Islamabad-based. Interviews and presentations will take place at IST, Islamabad only.

• Applicants can apply for one post only based on their eligibility.

• Age will be calculated as of the closing date of applications. Age relaxation for ex-government/ex-armed forces personnel applies per government rules.

• Personnel on Leave Preparatory to Retirement (LPR) are not eligible to apply.

• Serving regular government/semi-government/autonomous employees will not be appointed on deputation or Extraordinary Leave (EOL); selected candidates must tender resignation from regular service.

• An NOC from the current employer is mandatory for applicants currently in service.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview or presentation. No TA/DA will be admissible.

• IST reserves the right to reject any or all applications, or postpone/cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
