1. Gauge Reader

• Total Posts: 06

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years

• Placement: Ahmedpur Canal Sub-Division / Kotla Musa Khan Sub-Division.

• Qualification: Intermediate (FA/FSc) with a minimum 2nd Division from a recognized board. Candidates must also know how to swim and be proficient in reading gauges.

2. Regulation Beldar

• Total Posts: 26

• Age Limit: 22 to 35 Years

• Placement: Ahmedpur Canal Sub-Division / Kotla Musa Khan Sub-Division.

• Qualification: Must be literate (ability to read and write). Knowledge of canal work and swimming is mandatory.

3. Beldar

• Total Posts: 110

• Age Limit: 22 to 35 Years

• Placement: Ahmedpur Canal Sub-Division / Kotla Musa Khan Sub-Division.

• Physical Standards: Height 5' 4" and Chest 33".

• Qualification: Must be literate (ability to read and write). Experience in earthwork and proficiency in swimming are required.

Important Terms & Conditions

• Nature of Appointment: These are purely temporary work-charge positions for the season. They do not lead to permanent status or regularization.

• Termination: The department reserves the right to terminate employment at any time without notice due to poor performance or departmental needs.

• Salary: Wages will be paid as per the approved rates of the Government of the Punjab Finance Department.

• Legal Note: Selected candidates must submit an affidavit on Rs. 100 stamp paper stating they will not seek regularization through any court of law.
