Qualification: Intermediate (FA/FSc) with a minimum 2nd Division from a recognized board. Candidates must also know how to swim and be proficient in reading gauges.
2. Regulation Beldar

Qualification: Must be literate (ability to read and write). Knowledge of canal work and swimming is mandatory.

Physical Standards: Height 5' 4" and Chest 33".

Important Terms & Conditions

Nature of Appointment: These are purely temporary work-charge positions for the season. They do not lead to permanent status or regularization.

Termination: The department reserves the right to terminate employment at any time without notice due to poor performance or departmental needs.

Salary: Wages will be paid as per the approved rates of the Government of the Punjab Finance Department.

Legal Note: Selected candidates must submit an affidavit on Rs. 100 stamp paper stating they will not seek regularization through any court of law.
