Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic business plan to meet Board of Directors (BoD) objectives.

Market Reform: Lead the development of the wholesale electricity market framework and power system planning.

Digital Transformation: Oversee the adoption of modern energy management systems including EMS/SCADA and AI-driven forecasting.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full alignment with NEPRA and Government of Pakistan statutory frameworks.

Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships with the Ministry of Energy, NEPRA, and development partners.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial sustainability, and tariff-based cost-recovery models.
Eligibility Criteria
-
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting (or professional accounting membership), or Law from an HEC recognized institution.

Experience: * At least 20 years of experience in the power/energy sector.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in power system operations, electricity markets, or transmission system management.

Familiarity: Knowledge of international standards such as ENTSO-E or NERC is highly preferable.
Terms & Compensation

Tenure: Initial contract for 3 years, renewable based on performance under the SOE Act, 2023.
