The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced government job opportunities for Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICT) under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control. Eligible male and female candidates across Pakistan are invited to submit online applications for permanent Inspector positions before the closing deadline.

1. Inspector (BS-16)

• Qualification: Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's / BS / Bachelor's (16 years education) degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.

• Physical Standards:

  • Minimum Height: 5' 7" for Male; 5' 2" for Female

  • Minimum Chest Measurement: 33"–34.5" (for Male)

  • Vision Standards: 6/6 with or without glasses; near vision not less than J-1

  • Running Test: Male candidates must complete 1.6 km within 7 minutes; female candidates must complete 1.6 km within 10 minutes.

• Age Limit: 20–28 years plus 5 years general age relaxation in upper age limit.

Terms & Conditions

• Physical Test: The physical test for measurement of physical standards and running will be conducted by the ICT Police Department as and when referred by FPSC.

• Age Relaxation: General upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per federal rules.

• Government Employees: Candidates serving in government organizations must apply through proper channels and submit a Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) at the time of interview.

• Fee Structure: Fee payment must be made via the 1-Link facility using a unique PSID generated from the FPSC portal.

How to Apply

1. Go to the official Federal Public Service Commission website www.fpsc.gov.pk.

2. Generate a tracking PSID and complete the required application fee payment via 1-Link (ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, or Over-the-Counter).

3. Complete and submit the online application form with accurate academic, physical, and personal details.

4. Keep a printed copy of the submitted application form and payment receipt for future reference.
