Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi, a 2,250-bed tertiary care teaching hospital under the Government of Sindh, has announced healthcare career opportunities. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates holding a Sindh Province domicile to fill multiple contractual positions.

These appointments aim to strengthen patient care services and ensure adequate medical staffing for evening and night shifts. Available positions span senior medical consultants, specialist doctors, administrative healthcare roles, nursing staff, and allied health paramedics.

Terms & Conditions

• Mandatory Affidavit: Selected candidates must submit an affidavit at the time of joining confirming that the appointment is purely temporary/contractual for a specified period and confers no right or claim for regularization or permanent appointment.

• Contract Duration: Initial contract length will be determined by the Competent Authority and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance, attendance, conduct, and departmental recommendation.

• Professional Registration: Candidates must possess a valid registration with PMDC, PNC, Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, MDC, or other relevant professional councils.

• Age Relaxation: General age relaxation will be admissible per Government of Sindh policies.

• Quotas: Reserved quotas for women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and other categories will be observed as per Government of Sindh rules.

• Government Servants: Applicants currently serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organizations must apply through proper channels and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

• Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview.

  • Consultant & Specialist / Special Cadre: Rs. 3000/-

  • Nurses: Rs. 2000/-

  • Technical / Paramedical: Rs. 1000/-

• Screening Test: If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the limit, a screening test through NTS (National Testing Service) will be conducted, and candidates qualifying the test will be shortlisted for interviews.
