Position Title: Commissioned Officer as Second Lieutenant via 159 PMA Long Course

Target Group: Male Citizens of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan

Intermediate/FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com/DAE Candidates: Unmarried males aged 17 to 22 years with a minimum of 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent.

Graduation (2-Year Degree) Candidates: Unmarried males aged 17 to 23 years who have secured at least 50% marks in intermediate and 60% marks in graduation.

BS / BA (Hons) / BBA / BPA (4-Year Degree) Candidates: Unmarried males aged 17 to 24 years with a minimum of 60% marks in graduation.

Serving Army Soldiers: Serving military personnel aged 17 to 25 years (married or unmarried) are eligible to apply.

Physical Standards: Minimum height requirement is 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) with body weight according to BMI standards.

Candidates from specified underdeveloped areas (such as Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, District Neelum, Kohistan, Chitral, Dir, and specified rural regions of Sindh and Punjab) are eligible for a relaxed academic criterion of 55% marks.

Students awaiting their 2nd-year intermediate results can apply on the basis of a Hope Certificate showing at least 65% or required passing marks in Part-1, issued by the head of the respective institution.

Candidates possessing foreign qualifications (O/Valley and A-Level) must submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC).

Ineligibility conditions include being twice rejected by the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) or being dismissed/withdrawn from any government service or educational institution on disciplinary grounds.

Applicants can visit or contact their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs) located in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Multan, D.I. Khan, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Khuzdar, Pano Aqil, and Turbat for help.
