The Pakistan Army has officially announced recruitment opportunities for citizens of Pakistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan to join as Junior Commissioned Officers (JCO) in the Army Education Corps (AEC). Married and unmarried male citizens eligible for these posts can apply to serve the nation in sacred military duty. Registration is open at nearby Army Selection and Recruitment Centers across the country.

List of Vacancies & Eligibility Details

• (Junior Commissioned Officer - AEC): BA/BSc or Associate Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology, Geography, Computer Science, or Commerce); BS/MA/MSc degree holders preferred.

Terms & Conditions

• Nationality & Marital Status: Married/unmarried male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

• Age Limit (as of 28 February 2027):

  • Civilian Candidates: 20 to 28 years.

  • Serving Military Personnel: 20 to 35 years with 1 to 16 years of service.

• Physical Criteria:

  • Minimum Height: 5 Feet 6 Inches ($167.5\text{ cm}$).

• Educational Qualification: Minimum BA/BSc or Associate Degree in Science in one of the following subjects: 1. Physics, 2. Chemistry, 3. Mathematics, 4. Biology (Zoology/Botany), 5. Geography, 6. Computer Science, 7. Commerce. Candidates with BS or MA/MSc qualifications will be given preference.

• Selection Procedure: Candidates must clear initial intelligence and psychological tests at AS&RC. Successful candidates will appear in a written exam covering English, Urdu, Islamiyat, General Knowledge, History, and the selected subject. Passed candidates will undergo medical checkup and interview stages.

• Required Documents: Original educational documents with 2 attested photocopies, 4 passport-size photographs, CNIC/Smart Card, and Domicile / State Subject Certificate (for AJK applicants).
