Eligibility Conditions for ‘M’ Cadet Program
Age and Marital Status
To apply for the ‘M’ Cadet program in pak army, candidates must be between 20 to 26 years old as of August 4, 2024, and must be unmarried.
Nationality
Only citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit Baltistan are eligible. Candidates with dual nationality must renounce their non-Pakistani nationality upon final selection.
Physical Standards
Candidates must meet the following physical standards:
Minimum Height: 5’4’’ (162.5 cm)
Weight: According to Body Mass Index (BMI)
Ineligibility Conditions
Candidates are ineligible if they fall under any of the following categories:
Twice rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate (PGA) entry.
Twice rejected by ISSB for Intermediate/Graduate and once for Post Graduate entry.
Declared medically unfit by a Military Hospital or Appeal Medical Board.
Enrolled in any Armed Forces Academy/Institution as a G.C./Cadet/Officer.
Dismissed from any Armed Forces Academy/Training Institution on disciplinary grounds.
Convicted in a court of law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
Registration and Preliminary Selection
Registration Through Internet
Candidates can register online by visiting the Pakistan Army jobs website. The date and time of the test will be communicated via email. On the test day, candidates must bring all necessary documents and pay the prospectus fee.
Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs)
Candidates can also register at the nearest AS&RC with all required documents and the prospectus fee. The centers are located in major cities including Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Hyderabad, Karachi, Quetta, Gilgit, Faisalabad, Muzaffarabad, D.I. Khan, Khuzdar, and Pano Aqil.
Written, Intelligence, and Personality Tests
Test Overview
Candidates will undergo a computer-based professional written test worth 20 marks, followed by intelligence and personality tests. Successful candidates will then proceed to preliminary medical tests at AS&RCs.
Physical and Medical Tests
Physical Test Requirements
Candidates must meet the following physical test requirements:
1.6 Km Run: Complete in 8 ½ minutes
Push Ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
Sit Ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
Chin Ups: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
Ditch Crossing: 7’.4” x 7’.4” and 4’ deep
Preliminary Medical Test
Candidates will undergo an initial medical test at AS&RCs to assess their fitness for the program.
Required Documents for AS&RCs
Candidates must bring the following documents:
Original and two attested photocopies of educational certificates/degrees.
No Objection Certificate for government employees.
Attested photocopy of domicile.
Photocopies of CNIC.
Six colored photographs attested (front & back).
Crossed postal order of Rs. 100/- in favor of DGPA, GHQ Rawalpindi.
Degrees attested by HEC/PEC.
Further Selection and Basic Military Training
ISSB Tests and Final Selection
Shortlisted candidates will receive notices for ISSB tests. Upon clearing the ISSB, candidates will undergo a detailed medical examination and interview.
Basic Military Training
Selected candidates will undergo 22 weeks of Basic Military Training (BMT) at AMC School & Center Abbottabad for MBBS students and at AFPGMI Rawalpindi for GDMOs.
Bond and Service Commitment
Finally selected candidates must sign a bond to serve the Army for a minimum of 5 years. The bond will be executed on stamp papers worth Rs. 100/-, countersigned by a Magistrate/Notary Public/Oath Commissioner.
