Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for enlistment, candidates must meet the strict physical, educational, and age standards:

1. Educational Qualifications & Age Limits (As of January 1, 2027)

• Technical & Marine: Matric Science with a minimum of 65% or 80% marks respectively. Age limit is 16–20 years for Technical and 17–21 years for Marine.

• Naval Police, Chef, Musician, PT Branch: Matric (Science/Arts) with a minimum of 50% to 60% marks. Age limit is generally 16–20 years.

• Naib Khateeb: Matric with a Sanad from a recognized Madrassa. Age limit is up to 35 years.

• MTD (Driver): Matric with a valid driving license. Age limit is 18–24 years.

• Sanitary Worker: Middle school pass. Age limit is 17–21 years.

• Direct Entry IT Sailors: Requires Matric Science (65%) along with a DAE in Computer Technology / Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering (50% marks). Age limits vary by tier, ranging from 18 up to 32 years depending on relevant experience.

2. Physical Standards

• Minimum Height: Requirements range from 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) to 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm) depending on the specific branch.

• Marital Status: Unmarried status is mandatory for most branches, though married individuals are eligible for specific categories like Naib Khateeb, MTD, and certain IT roles.
