Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi, a 2,200-bedded tertiary care teaching hospital, has issued a corrigendum inviting online applications from qualified, dynamic, and experienced candidates holding a domicile of Sindh Province. These contractual appointments aim to strengthen present care services and ensure adequate staffing for evening and night shifts across various medical, surgical, administrative, and clinical departments.

Terms & Conditions

• Mandatory Affidavit: Selected candidates must submit a duly attested affidavit at the time of joining stating that the appointment is purely temporary/contractual, for a specified period, and does not confer any right to claim regularization, permanent absorption, or continuation beyond contractual terms.

• Contract Duration: Appointments are purely on a contract basis, with initial contract tenure determined by the Competent Authority.

• Extension: Contracts may be extended subject to satisfactory performance, attendance, conduct, departmental recommendation, and approval.

• Professional Registration: Candidates must possess a valid registration with PMDC, PNMC, Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, PEC, or any other relevant professional body.

• Age Relaxation & Quotas: General age relaxation is admissible as per Government of Sindh policy. Quotas for Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and other categories are observed per government rules.

• Government Employees: Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organizations must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

• Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.

• Disqualification: Providing false information, concealment of facts, or submitting incomplete or late applications will lead to rejection/disqualification.

• Screening Test: If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the limit, a screening test through NTS (National Testing Service) will be conducted.
