This technical apprenticeship program is governed under the Apprenticeship Ordinance 1962 and offers a valuable career foundation for youth interested in technical fields.

Candidates holding a Matriculation certificate in Science or Technical subjects with a minimum of 45% marks are encouraged to apply. The training program offers 70 total seats distributed under the prescribed quota for KPT Employees' Children and Open Merit across 16 different trades. Terms & Conditions

Educational Qualification

• Minimum Requirement: Matriculation (Science or Technical Stream) with at least 45% marks or above.

Age Limit

• Age Requirement: Between 14 to 25 years (Candidates under 20 years of age will be preferred).

Post-Apprenticeship Service

• Apprentices will be retained for 2 years of service as Tradesmen following the successful completion of their training ("Post Apprenticeship Service as Tradesmen").

• Incomplete applications or those missing required documents will not be entertained.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test.

• Obtaining Application Form & Prospectus:

  • In-Person: Collect the application form and prospectus directly from the Reception of KPT Head Office, Eduljee Dinshaw Road, Karachi against a payment of Rs. 200/- from 18-08-2026 to 01-09-2026.

  • By Post: Obtain the prospectus by post by sending a Postal Order of Rs. 250/- drawn in favor of the Chief Accounts Officer to the Manager (HR), KPT Head Office, Karachi.

• Form Submission: Duly fill out the application form and attach attested copies of all required educational certificates and passport-size photographs.
