Karachi Water & Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP): Consultant Opportunities 2026

The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC), through its Project Implementation Unit (PIU), is seeking applications for high-level individual consultancy positions for KWSSIP-II. This project is funded by the World Bank (IBRD), Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), and the Government of Sindh.

• Project Coordination and Knowledge Management Specialist

Key Requirements & Qualifications

While each role has specific criteria, the following general standards apply:

• Education: Most positions require a Master's degree (18 years of education) in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Economics, or Public Administration from HEC-recognized or international universities.

• Experience: Candidates generally need between 10 to 18 years of professional experience. Significant preference is given to those with direct experience in World Bank-funded or similar multilateral development bank (MDB) projects.

• Certifications: Professional certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or specialized M&E/Procurement credentials are highly desirable for leadership roles.

• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of FIDIC contracts, World Bank safeguards, and procurement regulations (Fifth Edition September 2023) is essential for technical and procurement roles.
