The Local Government Elections & Rural Development Department (LGE&RDD), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (GoKP), invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced professionals. Hiring is underway for Individual Consultant positions within the Project Management Unit (PMU) and City Implementation Units (CIUs) across Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swat, and Mardan for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP).

List of Vacancies & Details

1. Procurement and Contract Management Specialist (PMU)

• No. of Positions: 01

• Preferable Age Limit: 35 to 70 years

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Procurement, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or equivalent qualification (Master's degree preferred).

• Experience: Preferably 12 years of experience in procurement and contract administration, particularly on FIDIC contract agreements, Government of Pakistan (GoP), and Asian Development Bank (ADB) procurement guidelines. Experience with donor-funded projects (ADB/WB) or government institutions and work experience in KPK will be considered favorably.

2. Social Safeguarded Specialist (PMU, and CIUs - Abbottabad, Swat, Mardan, and Peshawar)

• No. of Positions: 05

• Preferable Age Limit: 35 to 70 years

• Qualification: Preferably Master's degree in Social Sciences or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: 12 years of experience in resettlement planning and implementation, specifically in projects financed by multilateral finance institutions. Well-versed in Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plans (LARPs) with strong English communication skills. Experience with ADB/WB projects and working in KPK is preferred.

3. Environmental Safeguarded Specialist (PMU)

• No. of Positions: 01

• Preferable Age Limit: 35 to 70 years

• Qualification: Preferably Master's degree in Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

• Experience: 12 years of experience in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of environmental assessments and plans. Must be well-conversant with ADB's Safeguards Policy Statement (SPS) 2009 and ADB environmental guidelines. Preference given to applicants with donor-funded (ADB/WB) or government project experience.
