Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for these judicial roles, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualifications

• A Degree in Law from a recognized university entitling the candidate to practice law.

• Alternatively, a Barrister of England or Ireland, or a Member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland.

Age Limit

• Standard Age: 23 to 32 years.

• Age Relaxation: A two-year optimum relaxation is available for government servants (with 2 years continuous service), disabled persons, and candidates from backward areas.

• Practice Credit: The period a Barrister or Advocate has practiced in the Bar (up to 2 years) shall be excluded from their age for the upper age limit.

Gender and Domicile

• Gender: Both males and females are eligible.

• Domicile: Must be a resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

• An application fee of Rs. 500/- (excluding service charges) must be deposited.
