Career Opportunity: Chief Human Resource & Career Planning Officer at LESCO

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), a leading State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) serving over 6.88 million consumers, is seeking a visionary leader for the position of Chief Human Resource & Career Planning Officer (CHR&CPO). This strategic role involves directing the HR function, developing business-aligned HR strategies, and providing thought leadership on organizational initiatives.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the HR transformation at LESCO through the following actions:

• Strategic Planning: Analyze HR requirements based on organizational vision and formulate a minimum 3-year HR strategy and framework.

• Operational Leadership: Define and modify the internal HR operating model to ensure efficient strategy execution.

• Talent Management: Oversee executive manpower planning, training requirement analysis, and conceptualize succession planning frameworks.

• Change Management: Steer organizational change and transition processes to achieve strategic objectives.

• Performance Review: Validate HR frameworks against internal business requirements and external macro-economic dynamics to update strategies accordingly.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Management Sciences, preferably in Human Resources or a related field, from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of post-qualification relevant experience.

• Seniority: At least 5 years of experience must be at a Senior Level position in a large-sized private or government sector organization.

• Certifications: HR certifications or courses from reputable national or international institutions are a strong plus.

Remuneration, Contract, and Age Limit

• Salary: A market-based competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications.

• Contract Period: Initial 3-year contract, extendable based on satisfactory performance and annual evaluations by the Board of Directors.

• Age Limit: Maximum of 57 years at the time of the closing date of the advertisement.
