The Legislative Assembly of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Secretariat is inviting applications for various permanent positions from eligible candidates (residents of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and refugees settled in Pakistan).

Job Openings and Eligibility

Assistant Officer (BPS-17)	01	21–35 Years	Master's degree (2nd division), B.Sc Engineering, or a Graduate with 7 years of administrative/protocol experience or 5 years in management.
Assistant Research Officer (BPS-17)	01	21–35 Years	Master's Degree (2nd division) in any subject from a recognized university.
Junior Stenographer (BPS-15)	01	18–35 Years	Intermediate (2nd division) with shorthand (100/80 w.p.m) and typing (40/35 w.p.m) speeds. Computer skills preferred.
Senior Clerk (BPS-14)	02	18–35 Years	Higher Secondary School Examination (2nd division) with shorthand (90 w.p.m) and typing (40 w.p.m).
Photographer (BPS-13)	01	18–35 Years	B.Sc with Physics or Chemistry and 1 year of photography experience, or F.Sc with 3 years of experience.
Computer Operator (BPS-12)	01	18–35 Years	Higher Secondary School Examination (2nd division) with word processing skills. Preference for Urdu software skills.
Electrician/Radio Mechanic (BPS-08)	01	18–35 Years	Secondary School Examination or a training certificate as an electrician or radio mechanic.

Important Terms and Conditions

• Application Deadline: Applications must reach the office of the Deputy Secretary (Admin) by February 13, 2026.

• Age Relaxation: While the upper age limit is generally 35, relaxations may apply up to 41 years in specific cases as per government policy.

• Documentation: Attach certified copies of educational certificates, domicile, state subject certificate, and National Identity Card (CNIC) with the application.

• In-Service Candidates: Those currently in government service must apply through the proper channel.

• Interview Process: Only eligible candidates will be called for tests/interviews on the scheduled dates provided in the advertisement (ranging from February 23 to February 27, 2026, depending on the post).

• No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for those appearing for tests or interviews.
