General Qualifications and Guidelines

Candidates interested in these positions should keep the following general criteria and terms in mind:

• Education: Most roles require sixteen (16) years of education or a Master’s degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university.

• Academic Performance: A minimum of 60% marks (or at least 50% for certain senior roles) in the relevant degree is generally required.

• Age Limits: The age limit for Manager-level positions is up to 50 years, while Deputy Manager roles generally have an age limit of up to 45 years.

• Experience: Candidates must possess relevant IT experience, with at least 10 years required for Managers and 5 years for Deputy Managers in private or public sector organizations.

• Professional Certification: Job-specific certifications and relevant experience with LESCO will be given extra weightage.
