Terms & Conditions

• Nature of Job: All appointments will be purely on a contingent/work-charge (daily wage) temporary basis for an initial period of 75 days, extendable based on satisfactory performance. Candidates will have no right to claim permanent regularization.

• Selection Policy: Recruitment will be carried out on merit according to the Government’s recruitment policy and Market Contingent Paid Staff Regulations 2026.

• Experience & Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working with market committees and healthy, literate individuals for sanitary roles.

• Posting Location: Selected staff may be posted at the Market Committee Office, Fruit & Vegetable Market, or any designated site as needed.

• Absence Rules: Contingent staff will not be allowed leave without prior official notification.

• Authority Rights: The competent authority reserves the right to terminate any work-charge employee at any time. This decision cannot be challenged in any court of law.

• Wages Payment: Wages will be paid out of the Market Committee Fund subject to availability of funds.
