Office of the Market Committee Jahanian, operating under the Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA), has announced daily wage recruitment opportunities for Contingent Paid Staff for the financial year 2026–27. Applications are invited from eligible local candidates for support staff positions to manage office sanitation and routine maintenance work.

Terms & Conditions

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years of age.

• Registration & Skill Assessment: Work charge / contingent paid staff will be registered based on their skills under the Market Committees Regulations 2026.

• Appointment Nature: Recruitment will be strictly on a work-charge/contingent basis for 75 days under the Schedule of Rates 2025 approved by the Finance Department, Government of the Punjab.

• Merit & Regularization Policy: Appointments will be made on merit following government recruitment policies. The position is purely temporary and confers no right to permanent appointment or regularization.

• Tenure Adjustment: Work charge / contingent staff numbers may be adjusted or decreased during the financial year based on operational needs.

• Remuneration: Monthly wages will be paid in accordance with the prescribed rules and rates set by the Government.

• Absence Restrictions: Leaving work or taking leave without prior official notification is strictly prohibited.

• Termination: The competent authority reserves the right to terminate any work charge / contingent paid staff member at any time without prior notice.
